Use the Databases tab to specify which databases you will be using. Because the Isah License Server requires a user name and a password to log on to the database servers specified on this tab, you have to specify these data as well. See Register Databases.
Double-click a record for additional information or to test the connection to this database.
Overview Of The Database Tab

Available databases grid |
Presents an overview of the databases used by the system that have been registered. |
Database Server |
Specifies the name of the database server containing the databases used by the system. |
Database |
Specifies the physical name of the database used by the system. |
User name |
Shows the user name that will be used by the Isah License Server to log on to the specified database server. In a typical database environment, the user name would be 'isahisah'. If you click the Add or Edit button you must also specify the password of this user. |
Supply chain URL |
Shows the supply chain web service address that is available for this database. |
Add button |
Click this button to open the Database window. Use this window to add a database to the list. |
Edit button |
Click this button to open the Database window and to change the settings of the selected database. |
Delete button |
Click this button to drop a database from the list. |
Update database |
Click this button to copy the license file data to the registered databases. Please note that whenever you make any changes to the settings on this tab or if you have received a new license file, you must update all databases. |
Overview Of The Database Window
Double-click a database or click the Add or Edit button to open the Database window. Use this window to edit the database settings. In addition to some of the fields as presented above, you can specify the following data in this window:
Password |
Shows the password that will be used by the Isah License Server to log on to the specified database server. In a typical database environment, the password would be 'isahisah'. |
Confirm password |
Allows you to retype the password used to log on to the database concerned. |
Databases |
Specifies the databases used by the system. The databases displayed in this list are generated automatically based on the selected database server. |
Test connection |
Click this button to test the connection to the selected database and to verify that the user name and password are correct. |
