In Isah PDI 4.5.2 (available for Isah 7.4.5.2), the communication protocol DCOM has been replaced by HTTP (IP addresses). This has simplified the installation of the Isah PDI software. The new procedure is described in the Isah PDI installation documentation. The setup of the Local Client Tables has not changed.
The names of the different Isah PDI components have been changed, and the server application has been split up into Isah PDI Server and Isah PDI Server Config. Below is a list of the components:

Isah DPR |
Isah DPR is the client application of Isah PDI. The program is designed to process production data. The program has been designed for touch-screen monitors, but can also be operated with a mouse, keyboard, or scanner. |
Isah PDI Server |
Isah PDI Server is a program running as a Windows service. The program is responsible for the communication between Isah DPR and the Isah database (see the figure below). Isah PDI Server also communicates with the Windows Event log of the machine on which the Isah PDI Server has been installed. |
Isah DPR Config |
Isah DPR Config is installed in addition to Isah DPR. Isah DPR Config is designed to configure the Isah DPR client. |
Isah PDI Server Config |
Isah PDI Server Config is installed in addition to Isah PDI Server. Isah PDI Server Config is designed to configure Isah PDI Server. The program can also start and stop the Isah PDI Server services. |
