The window displays the sales lines for the selected sales offer or order. If you select a sales line in this window, the data of that sales line will be retrieved. You can then view them on the different tabs.
If this check box has been selected, a routing must be specified in the Routing field. If the Routing field already contains a routing, this routing may be deleted only if the Routing required check box has not been selected.
If the Routing required check box has not been selected, the Routing field may be left empty. If a routing has been filled in, this routing may be deleted.
A sales routing can be used to control the status flow of a sales line.
In the Parts module, a default sales routing can be specified for each part (Parts form, Logistics tab). This default routing is automatically copied to the Routing field on the sales line. The value of this field can be changed only if:
The status indicates the phase the sales line is in, for example the 'Offer', 'Order', 'Production', or 'Purchase' phase. Statuses may be linked to a routing. If in the Routing field a routing has been filled in, the status filled in here must be linked to that routing.
You can change the status of the sales line using the Change status process from the Edit menu.
See also the Sales statuses and Sales routings files.
Note: When you change the status of a sales line, the status of any sublines will automatically change as well, provided that the sublines are for costs having an invoicing method relating to the sales line it is linked to.
Revision number, Reference date
The Revision number field shows the revision of the part specified on the selected line. If revisions are not used in your company, this field is always set to revision number '000'. Initially, this field contains the revision that is valid on the date the line was added.
If your company uses revisions by reference date (see the Basic data form, Revision management tab), you can enter another date in the Reference date field. The Reference date field is initially filled with the current date. If you enter a different date in this field, the part revisions will be checked to see which revision is valid on the reference date entered. This revision will then be filled in automatically in the Revision number field.
If you change the value of this field on the sales line of a production module, this change will be applied to the sales line in the Sales module.
Quality standards are used to indicate the quality standards the part must meet, such as 'Heat resistant' or 'Epoxied'.
If you change the value of this field on the sales line of a production module, this change will be applied to the sales line in the Sales module.
The lot number entered here is set as the default lot number when a shipping schedule is created. Before you actually ship the part, you can still change the lot number by entering a different number.
If you change the value of this field on the sales line of a production module, this change will be applied to the sales line in the Sales module.
This is the certificate number specified for the part on the sales line. If you change the value of this field on the sales line of a production module, this change will be applied to the sales line in the Sales module.
