Most fields cannot be changed; their values are equal to the values on the Engineering items form. Some field values can be changed, such as the value of the Order code field in the BOM section.
If the External check box is selected, the BOM line was created by the CAD integration functionality. This setting is important for the synchronization process. If the check box is selected, the BOM line can be controlled by the CAD integration functionality. If the BOM line was created in Isah, the check box will be empty and the BOM line cannot be controlled by the CAD integration functionality.
Use the CAD reference and CAD classification fields to register information about the CAD application, such as the name of the CAD application used by the engineer, or the drawing number.
