Work orders

Use the Work orders form to view or print the work orders that have been generated.

You can create a work order for every operation included in a production file. Work orders show job instructions. The information may include:

For each operation, you can include information that will be printed on the work order. This information is entered on the Memo tab of the Production calculation for operations form. To print text only on a work order, select Internal documentation from the list box.

Creating work orders

Work orders cannot be added with New (CTRL+N). Work orders are generated with the Create work orders process. When you start this process, you can select the operations for which you want to generate work orders. The process generates the relevant work orders and places them in the Work orders file in the production modules.

Work orders for hour registration

You can use the work order to record actual hours. A work order has a unique number, which is linked to a sales offer and/or sales order, a production order, an operation, and a machine. This enables you to enter hours quickly, as the work order number directly links to the corresponding sales order, production order, operation, and machine.
