Tip: You can watch an instructional video, showing the possibilities of the capacity overview in detail. You can start this video here: Insight into capacity
The Capacity overview form shows a graphical overview of the capacity group load. You can consult the overview in order to detect any bottlenecks in the planning. Any problems can be solved by rescheduling operations on the Operations planning board.
The data in the capacity overview originate from several forms:
The load data are the plan times from the Production calculation for operations form. When an operation has been scheduled, the division of the plan time is displayed on the Day planning form. The load is calculated as follows: Load percentage = Load / Available capacity * 100%
The details of the available capacity for capacity groups are copied from the Capacity groups form.
The details of the available capacity for employees are copied from the Schedule form.
The form only displays the load for operations that meet the following conditions:
They have not been not confirmed
They are part of production files that have not been confirmed
The production file status is not 'History'
The data displayed relate to the period shown on the Period toolbar.
Viewing capacity groups or employees
A preset allows you to specify the data you want to be displayed in the graph:
Capacity groups: The overview only shows capacity groups that have been configured to be displayed on the Capacity overview form. Select the Capacity overview check box on the General tab of the Capacity groups form.
