If projects are linked to the order structure, you can run the Determine bottlenecks process to visualize any differences between the project planning and the order planning. Project lines for which a discrepancy is found will have the Bottleneck check box selected. This may be the case when the estimated start and end times of a project line do not match the start and end times specified in the linked production files. This way, you can see at a glance which projects are causing bottlenecks.
Note: If you use the process to identify bottlenecks, only those project lines of which the order information has been filled in will be checked. Similarly, if you use the process to remove the 'Bottleneck' flag, only project lines with an order link will be processed. The 'Bottleneck' check box remains selected for project lines of which the 'Bottleneck' check box was selected manually.
