Parts Explorer

The Parts Explorer shows the hierarchical structure of part data. This improves the accessibility of information. There are various entry points from which you can view the underlying levels.

The Explorer also allows you to perform the following actions:

• Click and hold the gray, striped bar at the top of the Explorer to drag the Explorer away from the form, giving you a full calculation form to work in without you losing sight of the form's position in the tree.
• As in Microsoft Windows, you can move toolbars by dragging them to another location on the screen.
• You can add, change and delete calculation details for a part.

Note: To add a calculation while no other calculations exist yet, right-click in the left-hand pane on the part to which you want to add a calculation. Then choose the data you want to add to the part, for example New, Part calculation, or New, Operation calculation.
