Updating Isah on the client

Please keep the following in mind when installing Isah:

• It is strongly recommended that all features are installed on a local directory except the Reports feature. The Reports feature can be used from a network directory. To install the Reports in this directory, please perform an installation of Isah on the (MS SQL) server.

To install Isah:

1. Remove the following Isah software:

• Isah
• Isah language pack

  To remove this software, go to Add/Remove programs in Control Panel, select the above mentioned applications and click Remove. Follow the directions on your screen to remove the software.

1. Use Windows Explorer to open the following directory on your network: \IsahSetup_4_5_Isah\[UPDATEPACKNO]_[VERSIONNO]\Client_Software\Isah_[BUILDNO].
2. Double-click the file Isah.msi.
3. Follow the directions on your screen to carry out the installation process.
4. Double-click the file IsahLangPack[…].msi in the subfolder LanguagePacks.
5. Follow the directions on your screen to carry out the installation process.
6. You can now start Isah.
7. To check whether the correct version has been installed, open the Help menu and click About. The About box containing all version information will be displayed. Compare this with the information in System Requirements.
8. It is recommended that you restart your computer after you complete the installation process.
