Required software

To create custom functions for Isah Mobile, you need a development environment with the following software installed:

• Visual Studio 2008 SP1

  During the installation of this version, the following required components are installed automatically:

  • .NET Framework 3.5
  • .NET Compact Framework 3.5
  • Windows Mobile 5.0 SDK R2 for Pocket PC & Smartphone
• Windows Mobile 6 Professional SDK
• MS SQL Server Compact 3.5 SP2 for devices
• MS Sync Framework 2.1
• Microsoft Synchronization Services for ADO.NET v1 SP1 (Devices)
• Windows Mobile Device Center

Newer versions of Visual Studio do not support the development of components for the .NET Compact Framework.
