In this step, you set the filters to decide which table columns and records will be synchronized. It is important to set up the filters in such a way that for each table the number of columns and records to be synchronized is minized. Only the columns and records required for an Isah ML function must pass the filter.
Synchronizing too many table data will slow down the synchronization process. As a rule of thumb, a maximum of 5000 records should be synchronized per table.
The table filters for the standard functions of Isah ML have been configured for general use. All you have to do is check which filters are suitable and which filters must be modified. You can use the Isah Mobile Config tool for this.
You will see all tables that are to be synchronized. Selecting a table will display the filters for that table on the tabs.
For the Isah tables the filters SelectIncrementalInserts
, SelectIncrementalUpdates
and SelectIncrementalDeletes
are relevant. They indicate which records and changes will be synchronized to the mobile devices. You can modify and test the filters here.
The MT tables of Isah Mobile Logistics (except for the MT_PartInvtInfo table) contain the transaction records that must be sent from the mobile device to the Isah database. The relevant filters here are the Insert, Update and Delete filters. In general, they do not have to be modified.
For every individual table you can also change the following settings:
If you change filters for tables that are also configured for custom change tracking, you always need to check whether the corresponding logic should also be modified. In that case, check the update trigger to the MT_CT table.
