This category consists of system-wide settings. Many of them are required, such as the License Server IP address. You have to connect to the Isah License Server before you are able to log on to the Isah application. Other settings, such as the Reports Folder, are optional.
Specifies the path to the folder containing your company's job instructions (HTML pages). If this is a network location, make sure every client has network access.
Job instructions can be used to add your own specific help instructions to Isah. More information on how to add job instructions to Isah can be found in the Isah Help topic Job instructions.
Isah provides two help systems: offline help (a CHM file located in the Isah Help folder on your client) and an online version (located on the internet). Both systems contain a complete help system, but can be different due to their different formats. For instance, Webhelp enables you to send direct feedback to Isah or to e-mail a help topic to a colleague; this is not possible in offline help. Isah Webhelp is updated regularly, not necessarily alongside Isah updates; offline help is updated with Isah updates.
If the Fixed System field is disabled, online help is the default help system (see the System Used field). Users can change this parameter using their personal settings in Isah. Enable the Fixed System field to specify a help system for all Isah users in the System Used field; users will not be able to change the parameter in their personal settings if the system is fixed.
Note that internet access is necessary for online help to work properly.
Use either IP Address or Server Name to specify the network location of your Isah License Server:
Use the IP Address field to specify the IP address that identifies the network server the Isah License Server is installed on.
Use the Server Name field to specify the NetBIOS name that identifies the network server the Isah License Server is installed on.
The Port field specifies the port to which the Isah License Server is listening. This port must match the port number as specified on the Isah License Server.
Click the Test Connection button to verify the entered settings; they should allow you to connect to the Isah License Server.
