The following script categories can be discerned. These are possible applications of scripts:
System scripts: These scripts are automatically installed when you have carried out a typical installation. The system scripts are available for general use. For example, they may serve as an example on which you can base other scripts.
Action scripts: The action scripts are run when a specific action or process is run in Isah.
Event scripts: The event script allow you to overrule the standard events in all Isah forms. An event can be an action such as creating or updating a record or scrolling to the next record. When the event occurs, your custom event script will be triggered, overruling the forms default action.
PCF scripts: The PCF scripts allow you to set up the product configurator.
Look-up scripts: The Look-up scripts allow you to define a custom lookup instead of the standard Isah lookup in which you open the standard List tab of a particular form. Lookup scripts may for example be used when only specific data may be retrieved or that the screen opened should contain columns that are not present in that screen by default.
Base text scripts: When specifying base texts, you may include a number of key words that allow you to run scripts when the base texts are copied into another text.
Report scripts: The report scripts allow you to perform actions automatically when a user starts a report.
