Function Locate( KeyFields: String, KeyValues: Variant, Options: Integer): Boolean

Description

Searches the opened query for the first instance of a field matching the specified expression.

Parameters

• KeyFields: The keyfields is the string of fields separated by semicolons (;) in which you want to search for the specified value.
• KeyValues: Specifies the search expression. There are two options:
  • If the keyfields consist of one field, specify the search expression that makes up the content of a field. If the keyfields consist of several fields, enter an array of values. Enter as much values as there are fields.
• Options: Use options to indicate whether the search should be case sensitive and/or whether the whole key should be taken into account. Use one of the following options:

  0 = Case Sensitive + Whole Key

  1 = Case Insensitive

  2 = Partial Key

  3 = Case Insensitive + Partial Key
