Function GetSetting( SettingCode: String ): Variant

Description

Retrieves a setting, or default value, from the settings table.

Remarks

The result of this function is always a variant. You must, however, always check it for NULL values.

Parameters

• SettingCode: Specifies the code for which you want to look up the value entered. The following setting codes are recognized:
  • SettingCode
  • BasicCurrCode
  • BasicExchRateCurrCode
  • BasicLangCode
  • BasicCountryCode
  • ScriptPath
  • SalesPriceFixType
  • DimensionInputFactor
  • StandCapacityType
  • DefTimeRegSettingType
  • MaxNumberOfRows

These settings codes have been defined in the IBSETTING basic script.

Result

The value of the setting.
