Use the Parts linked to production file form to view the part(s) linked to the production file selected on the Production files form, and to manage these links. This link will be created automatically when you run the Synchronize engineering/production or Copy calculation from part to production file process with the Link part and production calculations check box selected. You can delete or add links, if required. For instance, you can delete any links that have been created unintentionally.
Delete link between part and production calculations
To remove the links for all underlying levels of a part or production file at the same time, use the Delete part and production calculation link process:
To remove the links between a part and all production files and underlying production calculations, select the part on the Parts form and choose the corresponding process in the Edit menu.
To remove the links between a production file and all parts and underlying part calculations, select the production file on the Production files form and choose Edit menu > Calculation to select the corresponding process.
A part linked to a production file is displayed together with that particular production file on the Production structure form. If more than one part is linked to the production file, the Production structure form only displays the part set as the Default. To display a part on the Production structure form, select the Default check box.
Only parts with order code 'Produce in new production file' can be set as default parts. Only this type of part results in a production structure you can view on the Production structure form.
