Linked to sales order and plan groups

Situation 1

A project line is linked to sales order 100 and has two plan groups that are used to estimate the costs.

If the project items are now calculated on level A, the items of the entire underlying structure are calculated, resulting in the following project costs:

• Sales order 100 + (Sales line 1 + Production file 1 + 3/8 of production file 3) + (Sales line 2 + Production file 2 + 5/8 of production file 3) + (Plan group lines according to plan groups specified)

Situation 2

A project line is linked to sales order 100 and has two plan groups that are used to estimate the costs. The underlying subproject is linked to sales line 1 and also has two plan groups that are used to estimate the costs.

If the project items are now calculated on level A, the items of the entire underlying structure are calculated, resulting in the following project costs:

• Sales order 100 + (Sales line 1 + Production file 1 + 3/8 of production file 3 + Plan group lines according to plan groups specified) + (Sales line 2 + Production file 2 + 5/8 of Production file 3) + Plan group lines according to plan groups specified

If you calculate the project items on level B, only the items on that level, including any underlying levels, are calculated. The costs then added up are the following:

• (Sales line 1 + Production file 1 + 3/8 of production file 3 + Plan group lines according to plan groups specified) + Plan group lines according to plan groups specified
