Merging equal values

Each individual column allows you to specify whether equal values should be merged. If you apply this function to the Town/city column, for instance, all consecutive customers in the same town or city will be grouped together. The cells will be merged and the name of the town or city will be shown once. This merge function allows you to quickly see which data belong together.

1. Right-click the header of the column to which you want to apply the merge function.
2. Select 'Display merged cells'.

Tip: If you first sort data by clicking the column header, all items with the same value will be grouped together in that column.

Example

For instance, to display all sales lines for an order or offer together, from the Sales lines form, apply the merge function to Order and Offer (Customers module, Customers form, Go to menu, Sales lines).
