The forms have various fields for entering, changing, and viewing data. You will only be able to add or change data if you have the appropriate rights to the form, and if the relevant fields are available. The settings selected may make some fields unavailable.

These input fields allow you to type data, sometimes only consisting of letters or digits. Dates can be selected in a calendar. In input fields that require amounts or numbers, you can use the Calculator . |
List boxes allow you to select a value. Sometimes it is possible to add a custom value, for instance in the Unit field in the Parts module (Parts form, General tab). |

Click one of these icons to open another form. You can change, supplement and delete the data on the form. If you enable the Edit mode, the icon will change into . You can now change the value of the field. |
Select these check boxes where appropriate. For example, select the Authorization field if a line has been authorized. |

This indicates that the field is linked to a default value set in one of the modules, such as the General Settings module. The default value is filled in automatically. |

This indicates that the field was originally filled with a default value set in one of the modules, for example the General Settings module. If the default value changes, the change is not applied to this field, however. |
Examples of fields linked to default values:
When you open the General Settings module, and then select the Settings folder, Default values, Customers tab, you will see the Payment condition field. In this field, you can specify a payment condition that generally applies to all of your customers.
When you add a new customer in the Customers module, you will also see a Payment condition field on the Customer card tab. This field is automatically filled with the default value set in the General Settings module. This is indicated by the icon.
You can now choose from three options:
Click a broken chain to restore the chain. The chain icon will change to . If the value in the field next to the chain icon is different from the default value set in the General Settings module, the value in this field will automatically be replaced by the default value set in the General Settings module.
