The List tab and various other lists provide a wide range of functions to search for, display, and select data, or to retrieve management information. For example, you can display the total price of an order, group customers by line of business, or apply a filter to display only customers from New York.
On many forms, the List tab is the tab you see when you open the form, for instance the Parts form. Other lists are available on the Texts tab, or on tabs such as the Origins tab (Sales module, Sales orders form, Lines button).
