Part groups

Use the Part groups form to organize parts into part groups. Part groups can be used:

• To mass-change part prices
• To differentiate groups for financial purposes: different groups can be posted to different ledger accounts
• To sort items in overviews

Groups and main groups could be set up based on part type (raw material, semi-finished product, finished product), discounts applying to particular parts, or the turnover category of a particular product.

If you also use main groups, you can organize the part groups into part main groups.

Tip: Start with a limited number of items for a clear and convenient setup. You can always extend your setup at a later stage.
