If the Calculate machine cycle time based on quantity and standard check box is selected, the total machine cycle time is calculated based on the Quantity and Standard capacity fields. In that case, it is not possible to change the machine cycle time manually.

If the Calculate machine cycle time based on quantity and standard check box is not selected, the total machine cycle time can be entered directly on the operation line. This value can then be different from the standard value.

Note: If the capacity group has been configured to use the standard capacity (the Use standard capacity check box is selected), the setting of the Calculate machine cycle time based on quantity and standard check box is irrelevant, as in that case the quantity and standard are always used in the calculation. If you want to manually enter a machine cycle time anyway, you need to change the setting of the Use standard capacity check box for the capacity group.
