This tab allows you to specify settings for use by the Product Configurator (PCF) module. If you select a configuration part on this tab, you will be able to configure the part at the sales file level by clicking the Configurator button on the Sales offers form or the Sales orders form. The features of this configuration are the values used by default for corresponding part features on the sales lines.
Example
A kitchen manufacturer delivers kitchens in various colors. Many kitchen components, such as cabinets, therefore have 'Color' as a feature. A kitchen is often delivered in one color. This color is registered on the sales order as: part: 'KITCHEN', feature: 'COLOR'. All configuration parts on the sales lines that have the 'COLOR' feature will then automatically have the same color as the color specified in the order.
