The order process consists of a number of steps. For each of those steps, you can choose to add or change data. Sometimes, being able to process the entire order quickly may be more important than having a choice of options, for example when making an over-the-counter sale. In that case, you can use the Quick Order Processing functionality. After you have entered a sales order with sales lines in the usual way, choose the Quick order processing option from the Edit menu on the sales line. For the sales line, specify all the steps you want to execute automatically at the same time:
If you start the Quick Order Processing function from the sales order, all underlying sales lines will be processed. If the process is started from the sales lines, only the selected sales line will be processed.
To manually print a shipping note, change the 'Printed' status for the shipping note that has been processed automatically.
You can speed up the order process even more by using the Quick Order Entry functionality. See Quick order entry.
