Phases allow you to define and save various stages of a production file. When registering a phase for a production file, all production file data current at the time are saved. This means that for each phase, you can see how the production file was built up at that particular time.
The Phases form is used to create a classification of the phases you want to register, for example 'Offer calculation' or 'Order calculation'. Then, in the Phase types file, you set up a classification by the phase types you have registered. For example, you could create the phase type 'Offer' for all offer phases you have defined.
