If projects are linked to the order structure, you can use the Identify bottlenecks process to visualize any differences between the project planning and the order planning. Project lines for which a discrepancy is found will have the Bottleneck check box selected. The check box may be selected when the estimated start and end times of a project line do not match the start and end times specified in the linked production files. This feature allows you to see at a glance which projects are causing bottlenecks.

Note: If you use the process to identify bottlenecks, only those project lines of which the order information has been filled in will be checked. Similarly, if you use the process to remove any 'Bottleneck' flags, only project lines with an order link will be processed. The Bottleneck check box remains selected for project lines for which the Bottleneck check box was selected manually.
