Run the Run automatic work preparation process to automatically execute one or more work preparation steps. The steps that are to be performed automatically are recorded in a script. The automatic work preparation procedure is as follows:
A production file/production order contains operations. You can create scripts for the capacity groups that have been created for these operations. The scripts are added to the Capacity groups file in the Work preparation processing field on the General tab.
When the Run automatic work preparation process is started, the software will check for which operations in the production file a script has been defined in the Capacity groups file.
These scripts, indicating the work preparation steps that are to be performed automatically, are then executed.
