Parts Explorer

The Parts Explorer shows the hierarchical part structure. The part selected on the Parts form is at the top of the part structure when you open the Parts Explorer. Only the underlying lines are displayed; the parent lines are not shown. If this part itself is part of a part structure, you need to select a parent part to see it. You can do the following in the Parts Explorer:

• Double-click the line to display more information about the calculation component. For example, if you double-click the operation line number, you will open the Operations calculation form. You need at least View rights to be able to open a form.
• Use and at the top of the form to display the part structure of other records.
• Show only those lines you want to see by using the icons, , , etcetera, or the View menu. To exclude equipment lines, for example, in order to have a better view of the other calculations, click . If the excluded calculation component has underlying lines, they will not be displayed either.

• Add calculation lines linked to an operation underneath the operation by using the Show lines below operations option from the Settings menu. Non-linked lines are shown together with the same calculation lines. This means that part lines, for example, are displayed together with the other part lines.
• Expand or collapse lines by clicking or .
