Origin and availability
When displaying the material availability, SFC takes into account the origin specified for the material. There are three possible origins: Purchase, Stock and Production. Also a combination of these three is possible.
If the part has a Stock attribute in the production order, SFC will only check the stock to see whether sufficient material is present. If the part must be purchased, the availability will not be green in SFC until the parts required have been ordered and received. If the part is a semi-finished product you produce to order yourself, the required quantity must have been produced.
If the parts required have different origins (for example, some have a 'Production' origin, while the others have a 'Stock' origin), SFC checks whether the conditions for all origins have been met.
