The Cost-plus specification form lists the actual quantities and the commercial prices. On this form, you can view the lines created from the actual costing entries, and change them where required. You can also manually add lines. The form displays lines relating to various cost elements: parts, labor hours, machine hours, equipment, and external operations. The Actual costing tab shows the original actual costing data. For obvious reasons, it is not possible to change these original data.
For the Cost-plus specification form, you can choose from the following options:
You may decide not to invoice a particular line. Although it is possible to delete the line, the line will be re-generated each time the Create cost-plus specification process is run. If you deselect the Active check box on the General tab of the Cost-plus specification form, however, the line will not be recreated and it will not be invoiced either.
When you open the Cost-plus specification form from the Invoice recommendations form, you will see the underlying data of the invoice recommendation. You will see which cost-plus specification lines have been grouped and have resulted in the invoice recommendation line. The price on the invoice recommendation line is the sum of the cost-plus specification lines underlying the invoice recommendation line. The Cost-plus specification button is only available for invoice recommendations relating to lines of the 'Cost-plus specification invoicing' type, which means you can also use it for invoice recommendations for costs and services.
