Indirect activities do not relate to a specific order and may include meetings or cleaning work. You can start an indirect task only if you do not have any active direct tasks.

Click the Indirect hours button.

Choose an hour type, for example 'Absent'.

Choose an hour type, for example 'Dentist's appointment'. The indirect action will commence at this point in time.
