In collaboration with TNO, other software vendors and various production companies, Isah has launched the Fieldlab 'The Smart Connected Supplier Network'. The aim of this collaboration was to simplify and further digitize information sharing within the chain. Because several parties in the chain are using different ERP systems, an electronic data exchange standard had to be developed. The standard that was developed is the SCSN standard for digital message exchange, which is based on the general UBL 2.0 format that is used around the world.
The messages created in Isah or other ERP systems, for example purchase orders and sales orders, can be sent to other organizations using this SCSN standard. The other organizations can then read these electronic messages, and automatically generate sales or purchase orders in their own ERP systems, for example.
