Create EC Sales List

Click the Create EC Sales List button to create the EC Sales List. Some fields are populated automatically, while other fields must be filled in manually.

EC Sales List period

Select the submission period. If you select 'Month' in the EC Sales List period selection field, then the To EC Sales List period field is filled in automatically.

Your choice depends on the frequency with which your business is required to submit its tax returns. If the frequency is less than once a month, for example once every quarter, choose 'Period' and then fill in the period in the From EC Sales List period and To EC Sales List period fields.

From EC Sales List period

Enter the first month of the submission period.

To EC Sales List period

Enter the last month of the submission period.

Contact

Fill in the name of the person at your company that is the point of contact for the tax authorities.

Contact phone

Enter the contact's phone number.

Once you have created the EC Sales List, the list will be assigned the 'Draft' status. This status is displayed on the EC Sales Lists form. You can still delete the return, if necessary. If you are happy with the list, you can make it final by clicking the Complete EC Sales List button. The list is now assigned the 'Final' status. You can no longer delete the list, but you can still make corrections by clicking the Create EC Sales List button.
