The IP address specified on theSystem Settings tab of System Admin does not match the IP address of the license server.
The IP address is correct but the license server has been stopped.
Solution:
Check the IP address in the Isah License Server control panel. Start System Admin, select the System Settings tab and, if necessary, correct the IP address so that it matches the IP address as specified in the Isah License Server control panel.
Open the Isah License Server control panel and click to restart the license server. Please make sure that the Active check box on the IP Addresses tab on the Options form of the Isah License Server control panel has been enabled for the IP address on which the license server will be listening.
Note: The error code specified in the [Code XXXX] section of the error message may differ. The error code provides additional information about possible network problems. In most cases, this will concern the error codes '10060' or '10061' which relate to an invalid IP address or a stopped license server.
The database specified in the error message has not been entered on the Databasestab on the Options form of the Isah License Server configuration panel.
The DB Admin program contains a false database name.
Solution:
Add the database concerned to the list on the Databases tab on the Options form of the Isah License Server configuration panel.
Check the database name specified in the error message. This should be the same name as the name specified in the DATABASE NAME field in DB Admin. Please note that this name does not have to match the name of the database alias as specified in DB Admin.
Cause: The database concerned has been added to the Databases tab on the Options form of the Isah License Server control panel, but the user name and/or password word have not been configured correctly.
Solution: Double-click the database concerned on the Databases tab on the Options form of the Isah License Server control panel. Retype the user name and password. Then check whether a connection can be established by double-clicking the Test connection button.
Cause: The contents of the license in the database do not match the contents in your license file.
Solution: Synchronize the license information on the database with the information in your license file by clicking the Update databases button on the Databases tab on the Options form of the Isah License Server control panel.
If the message 'Unable to connect to the License Server' is displayed, it means that no connection to the Isah License Server can be established. If this message is displayed before logging on to the system, you should verify the following :
Has the Isah License Server been started?
Have the correct IP address and port number been specified in SystemAdmin?
Have this IP address and Port been activated on the Isah License Server?
If the message 'License name unknown' is displayed on the Main Form of the license server control panel, instead of your company name, it means that the Isah license file is not present in the installation directory of the Isah License Server and/or the Isah License Server has not been started.
The message time-out error is displayed when the license used by a user has been released by the Isah License Server. The release of a license can have several causes: the Isah License Server may have been stopped or the license has been released on the web server.
The message 'Incorrect configuration of user name and password of database' is displayed when the settings for the specified database have not been configured correctly on the Isah License Server. This may have been caused by one of the following conditions:
The user name entered for the specified database is incorrect.
The password entered for the specified database is incorrect.
The specified database has not been registered on the Isah License Server.
