Web Server

The Isah License Server contains a built-in web server. This means that part of the Isah License Server can be accessed using Internet Explorer on any client that can establish a network connection to the system on which the Isah License Server is running. The web server enables you to see an on-line overview of license server information on a web page. This allows you to see who has logged on to the system, for how long etc.

Opening The Web Page Of The Web Server

Open your browser.
In the address bar, type 'http://IPADDRESS:PORT', where IPADDRESS:PORT match the values as specified in the Isah License Server control panel.

Open the Isah License Server control panel.
Click Tools, Options to open the Options form.
On the IP Addresses tab, click Show web page.

The web page is displayed in your default browser according to the specified IP Address. The web server uses the same security protocol as the Isah License Server control panel. The password specified for the Isah License Server control panel should also be used on the web server.

The web server always requests both a user name and a password. You should use the same password you use for the Isah License Server control panel. In some cases, depending on your operating system and the version of MS Internet Explorer, it is required that you also enter the user name. In that case, any user name will do.

Overview Information Displayed On The Web Page

Item	Description
Company name	Displays the company name that is retrieved from your license file.
Refresh automatically	Select this check box to refresh the pages every minute. This check box is selected by default.
Licenses	The Licenses folder contains all applications for which you possess a license. If you select any of these applications, you will see the number of licenses to the application as retrieved from your license file. This is the maximum number of concurrent users allowed for the application.
Connections	The Connections folder displays all current connections to the Isah License Server including the corresponding data. Click the Connections folder to view all current connections. This page is used as the start page of the web server. If you open a subfolder in the Connections folder or double-click an ID, you can zoom to a specific connection. Click the Release License button to release the license of that user on the Isah License Server. The connection will then be closed within two minutes.
Licenses in use	The Licenses in use folder displays the licenses in use per application. Click this folder to view the licenses in use. The machine names on which the licenses are used are displayed for every application.
Show log	Click the Show log folder to view the contents of the Isah License Server log file.
