To be able to make a connection to the MS SQL Server, the Microsoft SQL Server Native Client has to be available.

If you install the Isah Database Patch Engine on the database server, or on a computer containing an Isah 4.5 client or higher, the Microsoft SQL Server Native Client is already installed.

If the SQL Server Native client must be installed, you must run one of the following setups:

• On a 32-bit Windows operating system: sqlncli_x86.msi
• On a 64-bit Windows operating system: sqlncli_x64.msi
