Install WebDAV

The way you install WebDAV depends on the environment you work in. The two main methods are described in this topic.

Installing WebDAV with the Server Manager Dashboard

1. Open the Windows Control Panel.
2. Go to All Control Panel Items > Programs and Features.
3. In the left column, click Turn Windows features on or off. The Server Manager Dashboard opens.
4. Click Add roles and features. The Add Roles and Features Wizard opens. Click Next.
5. Select Role-based or feature-based installation and click Next.
6. Click Select a server from the server pool.
7. Select the server and click Next.
8. In the Roles list, open Web Server (IIS) > Web Server > Common HTTP Features, select WebDAV Publishing and click Next.
9. Click Next and confirm the installation selections.
10. Click Install.
11. Close the wizard.

Installing WebDAV with Add/Remove programs

1. Open the Windows Control Panel.
2. Select Add/Remove Programs.
3. Click Turn Windows features on or off.
4. Go to Internet Information Services, World Wide Web Services, Common Http Features and activate WebDAV Publishing.
5. Press OK.
