On the SMTP Settings tab you can configure settings that enable you to send emails from Isah MFS. You specify the SMTP service and the user credentials needed to send emails to the recipients.
Warning: You might need to configure firewalls to allow communication to the port you specify.
Enter the user name for the SMTP server account. You can either enter a user name or an email address. Additional information required to deliver the message (e.g. recipient, title, body text) are specified in Isah.
This is the password assigned to the user. If you filled in user name and password, press the Save Password button to make sure the password is both saved and encrypted.
Activate the Secure with STARTTLS field to secure the connection between the MFS service and the SMTP server. In that way, you protect your SMTP account and the sent emails from unauthorized access.
If all SMTP settings are specified, press the Test email address button to validate all field values. A test email will be sent using the defined email address both for the sender and the recipient.
N.B. It is strongly recommended that the Isah Configuration tool is installed on the same machine as the MFS service. In that way, if you send an email, the same conditions will be used.
