Event InitMenu( aMenu: TMenuItem)

Description

Event that is fired when the screen is opened and the main menu of this screen is built up.

Remarks

Use the InitMenu procedure to dynamicaly add menu items from event scripts.

Parameters

• aMenu: The aMenu parameter is the main menu of the screen. Use this object to call the AddItem method to dynamically add a menu item to the Edit menu of the screen concerned.

InitMenu Event Methods

Method AddItem( Caption: String, Event: Event ): TMenuItem

Adds a menu item to the Edit menu. Use the AddItem function in the InitMenu procedure of an event script. Parameters:

• Caption: The value of this parameter is displayed in the Edit menu as the menu item.
• Event: The name of the procedure that should be run when the user clicks the menu item.
