Syntax

Function RoundTo (Number, DecimalPlaces)

Description

Rounds a number to a specified number of decimal places.

Remarks

This general function is available in all Isahscripts. In contrast to the standard VBScript Round function,which performs round to even, the RoundTo function performs symmetric arithmetic rounding: a number that is halfway between two possible rounded values is always rounded to the larger number.

Parameters

• Number: The numeric expression that must be rounded.
• DecimalPlaces: Number indicating how many places to the right of the decimal are included in the rounding. When you enter a negative value, the function will round to the left of the decimal.
