The Document Link makes document-related information and functionalities from Isah available with a COM API. These functionalities can be used in the user’s own software. The Document Link contains a reference to the Isah Integration Server which makes all Integration Server functionality accessible in the Document Link.
You can perform actions on document links and documents records in Isah (a document in Isah is in fact a document record that contains document properties). Document records contain document properties. This enables you to link documents such as invoices and letters from Word to an Isah item, for example a particular supplier. Using the Document Link you can create a document record for the document which you link to the supplier. In Isah you can retrieve a list of all documents linked to the supplier. You are able to view, edit or print the documents (provided that these functionalities are implemented).
A Document Link installation procedure is available. A license is required for each user in order to use the Document Link functionality. Please contact your Isah consultant for further information.
The Document Link API consists of a number of interfaces. All interfaces, including their methods and properties are described in the Document Link help. Code examples show the application of methods and properties. Tasks show you how to perform certain actions. All help topics describe situations you may encounter using the Documen Link.
