The Isah License Server manages the Isah database connections. It registers passwords and other information stored on the server, allowing Isah to log in to the appropriate server and database. In Isah 5.2, these passwords are encrypted in a different way, namely using AES encryption. Encryption is also used when Isah accesses the details required to log in to a database.
If you prefer to work with databases created in a version older than Isah 5.2, you can still do so. For this purpose, the following option has been added to the Isah License Server: Isah databases prior to 5.2. If you enable this option, an additional tab appears showing the older databases.
The option to view Sybase database will be removed, as Sybase database are no longer supported from Isah 5.2.
