In Isah Configuration, you can find the Sort Order tab, along with the General tab (previously Operation Filters) in the detail form of the Terminal-Specific Settings form. This gives you a quicker way to see the operation filters defined for the different terminals and the corresponding settings. Also an important management option has been added to this tab: Work mode.
Use the Work mode option to differentiate between three ways of working:
Use this setting to continue to use SFC as you have until now. Your employees will be shown a list of operations from which they can choose their new tasks. Detailed information about the operations is available, and the operations displayed are carefully sorted. This means you have greater control over the tasks your employees will take up.
This method is new. Choose this method if you manage your employees less strictly and want to give them more freedom in selecting tasks. The operations are still filtered based on the settings in Isah Configuration, but all operations are sorted based on limited criteria, such as production order/production file and priority. SFC displays a limited number of operations, and will retrieve more operations when you scroll to the next page. Detailed information, such as previous and subsequent operations and remaining operation time, is disabled, which accelerates the display of the list of production orders and operations for your employees.
This method is new. Use this method if you want your employees to enter a work order or production order number to find a particular task, without them seeing a list of all outstanding tasks. After they have entered a number, SFC will take them straight to the corresponding task. Please note that the filters you specify in the Terminal-specific settings will still apply. This means that SFC will only find a work order or production order if it matches the filter definitions specified in Isah Configuration.
