Isah Finance APIs give you the opportunity to communicate with Isah Finance from another application. In order to communicate with Isah Finance, set the authentication settings required for the authentication process. Enter the settings for every API you want to use. Each API has its own tab. You need a license to use APIs.
Activate the Enabled field if you want to use the API concerned for communication between Isah Finance and another application. In addition, for all the activated APIs you have to enter the companies you want to access with the API (please refer to Company API Settings).
Specify the Isah Finance user name that will be used in the communication between Isah Finance and another application with an API (it will be displayed in the LastUpdatedby in the database). For example, if you create the FinanceAPI user, several employees can use that name to gain access to Isah Finance with an API from the application of their choice.
Click the Create button to generate a token. You need the token for account verification when you want to start the communication with Isah Finance by means of the API.
The HTTP headers of all of the Isah Finance API requests require a token. You need to create one token for every API in Isah Configuration you want to use. Create a token on the tab concerned for the Daybook API, The Open Item API and/or the Payment API. You only have to create the tokens once. Insert the obtained token in the request header as a Bearer authentication token.
