For electronic returns in Isah Finance, you need a PKI government certificate (PKIoverheid) to encrypt the returns for secure data transfer and in addition, to create a legally valid electronic signature. That way, the Tax Authorities can be sure of the sender’s identity. Your company has to apply for a certificate to a certificate authority. The next step is to install the certificate on your system. You can either apply for a certificate yourself or contact Isah if you want to use the Isah collective certificate.
The PKI certificate needs to be installed in the server Windows certificate store (i.e. the same location as the Isah Finance Web Service).
If you want to apply for a certificate yourself, please carry out the following steps:
In case you want to use the Isah collective certificate, an Isah consultant will carry out the steps mentioned above to install the PKI certificate.
Note: The certificate has a limited validity period, so it is important to renew the certificate before it expires. Isah Finance will display an expiry notice when the certificate is about to expire or/and when it has expired. A valid certificate is required for submitting electronic returns.
