Cross-charging

Rate

The journal lines that Isah creates automatically for cross-charging between companies are created in the amount of the original journal entry. The Multicompany add-on does not support cross-charging at a different rate.

Processing cross-charging

The final step in Multicompany is to post the amounts to be cross-charged. The cross-charging must be processed on a periodical (monthly) basis:

• If the companies are part of the same tax entity, transfer the balance to the current accounts.
• If the companies are not part of the same tax entity, use an invoice, including VAT, to charge the total balance to the other companies. You can use the transactions on the ledger account to compile the specification for the invoice.
