The commodity code is the eight-digit code according to the Combined Nomenclature (CN). Previously, this was the statistical number. This code is identical across all EU Member States.

Each part shipped or received in Isah must be assigned the correct commodity code. To register the commodity code, open the Parts form, select the Financial tab, and enter the code in the Statistics field. Based on the statistical number, Isah will prepare the import and export data for IDEP. A list of commodity codes can be found in IDEP.

Note: The statistical number has 9 positions in Isah, and only 8 in CBS. In Isah, often an additional dot is used (for example 8485.9080). In the integration module, this dot is removed automatically.
