The commodity code is the eight-digit code according to the Combined Nomenclature (CN). Previously, this was the statistical number. This code is identical across all EU Member States.

Each part shipped or received in Isah must be assigned the correct commodity code. To register the commodity code, open the Parts form, select the Financial tab, and then enter the code in the Statistical number field. Based on the statistical number, Isah will prepare the import and export data required for your Intrastat declaration.

Note: The statistical number has 9 positions in Isah, and only 8 in Intrastat. In Isah, often an additional dot is used (for example 8485.9080). In the integration module, dots and spaces are removed automatically.
