Filling in the country form

Use the Countries form to enter the countries you are doing business with. For each individual country, specify the following:

How does it work?

For all goods you import, there is a country of origin (also called "country of consignment"). To establish the country of origin, Isah checks the country of the shipping address listed on the purchase order.

For goods that you export, there is a country of destination. To establish the country of destination, Isah checks the country of the delivery address listed on the shipping note.

Isah compares the countries of origin and destination it has found with the details on the Countries form to determine whether the transaction is an import or export transaction, and whether the transaction is taking place inside of the EU (Intrastat declaration required), or outside of the EU (no Intrastat declaration required).
