For an accurate declaration, you need to know which goods were exported from Belgium to other EU countries. Also data such as the value, the weight and the commodity code are required for the declaration.
Some of the required data only have to be defined once in Isah, after which Isah will always be able to retrieve them. Examples include setting your home country and entering countries on the countries form. Other data may vary by declaration, such as the goods you have exported.
In addition to the fixed settings you specified during the setup of the integration module, Isah needs the following data to create the export declaration:
Shipping notes: The shipping notes for the period must have been printed. Isah retrieves the information about the goods shipped from the data contained on the shipping notes.
Financial VAT code: The sales lines relating to the printed shipping notes must have a financial VAT code of the type 'Intra-Community supply'.
Value: Isah determines the value of the shipping notes based on the corresponding sales invoice. If the sales invoice has not been created yet, or if the sales invoice does not contain a value, Isah will determine the value based on the sales line corresponding to the shipping note. Amounts will always be converted back into the base currency that is used for your accounts. For Intrastat Belgium, you are required to use euros.
